In September 2019 I went on one of the most amazing and eventful retreats to France with one of my dearest friends Nancy Smith - an amazing medicine woman and healer, and someone who has been part of my personal spiritual wellness team for many years to keep me aligned. A few weeks ago I was elected as the new President of Sydney based Academy of Light - an organization that for 30 years has been promoting speakers and healers in the spiritual space through their events. I am so delighted that Nancy has kindly agreed to open this year’s events for us. Two bits of exciting news to announce!

I am delighted to have been elected as the new President of AOL - the Sydney based association which is about to enter its 30th year of existence. AOL has been a well known meeting place for spiritual teachers, healers and those interested in spirituality for many years.

With many branches springing up over the years, the current monthly speaker events are held in Mosman.

Which brings me to my second bit of interesting news - we are delighted to have @nancyvalentinesmith_ as our opening speaker for 2025. If you don't know Nancy, or have not experienced a session or workshop with her, then you really should. She is one of my favourite people. The event is being held at 7.30pm on Monday February 10th at Mosman Art Gallery - tickets are available through the link in the comments below. I would love to see you there.

A Weekly Ritual for Realignment

Life gets busy, and it’s so easy to lose touch with the intentions we set for ourselves. That’s why I love carving out a little time each week for a simple ritual to reconnect and realign.

Here’s how you can do it:
- Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Light a candle, burn some incense, or simply sit somewhere that feels calming.
- Reflect on your week. Ask yourself:

What aligned with my intentions this week?
Where did I feel off track, and what can I learn from that?

- Revisit your intention. Write it down again, or tweak it if it needs to shift. Intentions are meant to grow and evolve with you.
- Set a small action. Choose one thing you can focus on in the coming week to live your intention more fully.

This little ritual is about showing up for yourself with curiosity, not judgment. It’s a moment to pause, realign, and remind yourself of what truly matters.
